¡Feliz día de los muertos!

It's actually here! November has come and we are quickly approaching Thanksgiving and Christmas!  I can't wait!

Stella didn't really like all the people ringing the doorbell.  She looked at us like "why are you giving away all my food?"   But any food in our house belongs to Stella. :)

Happy Halloween! ¡Feliz día de los muertos!

The week is here and the pumpkins have finally been carved. Granted we only got them on Saturday, but oh well.

Step 1: gut the pumpkins

Step 2: regret the design I chose. I decided that I needed to step up my usual pumpkin carving pattern and went for the Día de los muertos sugar skull.

Step 3: bask in the greatness that is my pumpkin!

Oh yeah Eric did one too!

Homecoming week!

We had some interesting dress up days at school this week!
'Merica Monday
Tuesday Snooze day (pjs)
Wacky Wednesday
Throwback Thursday (jerseys)
Spirit day Friday

Tuesday and Thursday were easy! Friday is just going to be deciding what Harrisburg shirt to wear.

Monday was also an away volleyball match so I got to coach in my Rosie get-up!

Wednesday we didn't have a match so that was good!

I have a fabulous team at school! They are willing to be goofy and silly. Such a positive and supportive group. I don't know what I would do without them.

School's starting?

I can't believe that we are at that time already!  I don't know about you, but I'm not prepared. There is just too much left to do before the kids show up on Wednesday!

There are a few things that I have been able to check off my list:
-new vehicle
-boxes unpacked
-the mailbox is up (thanks to Dad and Eric)
-new earrings (made by yours truly)
-one embroidered dish towel completed

Plus, Mom found this cool Mexico bag for me.

Exceeding expectations

I was looking through "old" pictures on my iPad and my phone. I can't believe how much Stella has grown. Our miniature Australian Shepherd was supposed to be no more than 30 pounds or so. She has far exceeded expectations and is now the size of a regular Aussie (45 pounds). The vet says she is a perfect weight for her height.
